Curia had been born on Themiscyra, but as an infant, the island was at war; her birth mother had put her on a boat and sent her off to protect her. Months later, the small boat carrying its single young occupant washed up on the shores of Brazil. She was found by the inhabitants of a small village there, and was raised as their own; but even though she had no memories of her home, she always knew she was different than the other girls in the village. Once she turned 18, she went out in search of where she had come from.
It took almost two years, but finally, she found the island, and discovered her true heritage. She was saddened to find out that her birth mother had perished in the war; but her sadness was tempered a bit when Hippolyta herself offered to adopt her as one of her own daughters. Hippolyta gave her the name Curia, which meant ‘curious and full of wonder’; in a way, Curia was filling the void left by Diana, who had gone out into Man’s World as the superheroine Wonder Woman.
Curia spent the next three years learning everything there was about being an Amazon; once the three years were up, and her training was complete, Hippolyta granted her permission to take a year and travel the world; the Amazon Queen had realized her mistakes in sheltering Diana too much, and vowed not to do the same with Curia. The year was quite an adventure for the young Amazon; she found herself in a number of ‘heroic’ situations and was able to put her training to the test, with positive results!
Curia arrived back on Themiscyra just as the horrific news arrived of Diana’s murder. The island grieved for weeks for its princess and ambassador to the world; but eventually, they realized that a successor must be chosen, and so, as before, a contest was held. Several Amazons, including Curia, were neck-and-neck coming into the final challenge, and in the end, it was Curia who triumphed, and became the next Wonder Woman.

SubscribeStar - sad news
So, I was made aware last night that one or more of my subscribers on my SubscribeStar page, had started to post my full comics (or, filesharing links to) to some free porn image hosting sites. This was done without my knowledge or my permission. What does this mean? I'm not sure yet, but for now, I will not be posting anything to my SubscribeStar page. I have reached out to the owners of these sites requesting that my content be removed, so we'll see if that happens. If anyone has any advice on what to do moving forward, I'm happy to hear it. I will continue to post what I post here, the way I have been posting it. Thank you for listening.
Looking back, Looking forward...
Happy New Year! I am a bit late in getting this out, but I do always like to take a look back at the last year, and in particular, the things that stood out to me and inspired me and brought me enjoyment. It was an up-and-down year for me, but I want to try and focus on the positives, especially as we start this new year this week. I guess I'll start with what I worked on in 2023. It was a busy year here! I'm going to add as many links as I can so you can find the things I am describing. In the summer of 2022 I started on an epic journey that I decided to call 'A League of Our Own'. It's the most ambitious story/comic I have ever done (and, it may not yet be over - when I get to the end here I will explain). There were over 30 characters, about half of them from DC Comics, and the rest OCs, both mine and others who were gracious and allowed me the use of their characters. I hope I did all of you justice as best as I could along the way. The comic wrapped up this past summer -
