Part 1:  Wonder Woman: The Pole, Part 1It was a red, white, and blue streak across the darkening sky.  In recent days it had been a sight that had elicited many cheers, as it was the form of the superheroine known to the world as Wonder Woman.  
The mighty Amazon had always been a popular figure ever since she arrived on the scene and news of her heroic exploits had swept the nation; and her alliance with the Justice League only served to increase her popularity.  But the last week or two had seen her popularity spike even more, primarily because of her very public stance as a feminist icon.  She had appeared at a number of large pro-women rallies and been hailed as the new face of such organizations as NOW.  She spoke eloquently and firmly about how women needed to stand together and exert their power and influence in every facet of society.
Everywhere she went, women cheered her on, to so many she was their role model, their heroine, their inspiration.  She was beaming with pride – she Part 3:  Wonder Woman: The Pole, Part 3Wonder Woman woke up again, still with no idea of the day or time.  The events of the previous day still lingered in her mind; she had been captured and trapped by this mysterious figure who so far had not revealed a single clue as to its identity.  The only thing she knew was that a man had bound her bracelets, which robbed her of her super strength and other powers.
She actually felt a bit stronger than she had before, which she thought may have had to do with the fact that she hadn’t struggled to get her bracelets free in hours.  There was no use in trying again – the bracelets were not going to come apart without her super strength – so she decided to save her remaining strength to use towards a means of escape.
She found herself wondering again about her captor.  She had encountered many villains and made plenty of enemies, but which of them hated and despised her so deeply that they would go to this much trouble and effort to not only capture
